We booked a table here for our work Christmas deal. Staff were very friendly and polite, food was exceptionally delicious and the price was perfect. We will definitely visit again

We had brunch here the day after our wedding and it was fab! The food and drinks were delicious. There were 25 of us, we had our own section and we were really looked after. Tanya was amazing, so helpful and brilliant - thank you! It was a perfect end to our wedding.

Accommodating staff leads to a lovely meal, we'll be back! The food service side was full up on this particular day, but the bar staff was willing and had us sit in their side to be served. The atmosphere was a good mix of appealing energy with just a little of home like cozy. As for the food, it was delicious! The tapas variety is a great bit tbh, you can choose a few to share and they are good size. The parmesan tossed chips were hugely moreish and the eggs royal was a rich feeling brunch along side our tapas. It was a great visit and stop in!

The food, service and atmosphere here are great. We came here on a Sunday for a late breakfast and were greeted warmly by the staff. We ordered 2 lattes and 2 breakfast brunches (pictured), the coffee was excellent and the breakfast was superb. The venue is really nicely decorated and very clean. The staff were attentive and very polite. The cost was on the high side, but i think it was worth it. I will definitely be going back.

I had an absolutely fantastic breakfast here! The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The avocado toast with poached eggs was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The coffee was rich and smooth—just what I needed to start the day. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a delicious and relaxing breakfast experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was invited to sing for an event here last weekend & was so impressed! The event was planned very well & the venue is great. The team were all lovely & made sure I was well looked after. All of the customers had such a fun evening with great food & lots of dancing & singing along - the atmosphere was amazing! I'm looking forward to returning here soon. Well, I've had a pretty "traumatic" week in my private life, and needed to go somewhere to relax. I popped in here for a lovely Latte, and a sit down. I must praise all the staff here, with all my heart. What wonderful people, and so friendly. I felt so at ease, and contented. The whole atmosphere of "Deckhouse" made my day. I'll 100% be going again, next time I cross the Devon border to visit Taunton. See ya, folks ! X

This was the first time we’d dined at the Deckhouse and it is now one of our favourite dining experiences. The food was delicious. My partner enjoyed the steak for his main and my favourite course was the Crunchy roast vegetable salad for my starter, which our server, Joe, asked how i’d describe it in one word, i said “tasty”. We really enjoyed our date night here, the three courses were served at just the right times and Joe provided an exceptional quality service.
